Message for ODOT Leadership

Everyone wants and deserves to have their feedback receive the highest level of consideration possible. Please do know that this form does a great job routing your comments to the right people here at ODOT for timely and courteous attention. Before elevating a matter right to the top, please do try reaching out through the other available feedback topics first. It's often way faster and more effective!

ODOT's Director and Executive Leadership team are dynamic and engaged folks, and this forum is a good way to get in touch with them about scheduling requests and other matters warranting their attention. However, messages coming through this channel can require additional review and processing – and often referral back through other local or divisional ODOT staff. Therefore, it can take a bit longer for follow-up and action beyond our typical 1-3 business day response window.

If your concerns are really not covered by the other feedback subject options, and your message truly requires attention by the ODOT Director or other senior staff, please do use the form to provide your questions or comments.

OHGO/Traffic Camera Video Request

The Ohio Department of Transportation provides digital copies of footage from our traffic cameras for free upon request. However, please be aware that our agency keeps traffic camera footage on a rolling 72-hour retention schedule, meaning footage is overwritten after three days unless it is recorded and saved before that. Requests made outside of the 72-hour retention window are not guaranteed to be fulfilled.

Additionally, our agency does not offer footage from locally operated cameras or locations not located on our OHGO system. Click here for traffic camera locations. For more details on the best way to determine locations and make a request, please visit our Traffic Camera Footage Request page.

For other questions or concerns with the OHGO website or OHGO App, please send an email directly to the OHGO Help Account.

All footage requests must use the separate Video Request Form, which will launch upon hitting the Submit Form button below.

Roadway Defects and Damage Claims

If you have experienced damage to your vehicle on a state system roadway as a result of a pothole, debris on the road, other roadway defect, or from an ODOT or ODOT contractor's vehicle, a separate reporting form must be used to record information about the incident. You will be redirected to the appropriate form upon clicking Submit.
